To Laura and family,
So so sorry to hear of your loss. I never met your mom, but from that beautifully written obituary, it sounds like she was an amazing woman, loved by many people. Having been through this grief myself, you'd think I'd know exactly what to say, but still, I find it so hard to find the right words. The sharp pain does lesson over time, and one day you will be able to talk and laugh about her with joy instead of feeling sadness. Be patient with each other, as grief is a rollercoaster ride and everyone handles it so differently.
Much love to you and your family

To Laura and family, I am so sorry to hear of your mom’s passing. I was lucky enough to meet her a few times at birthday parties with our girls and she had the warmest spirit. I will always remember bringing Hannah to a birthday party at the Sportsplex and Marley was just a baby and your mom took her for me so I could swim in the pool with Hannah. And every time I looked up in the stands she was smiling and cuddling and playing with Mar. It spoke to her warmth and kindness that Marley was so comfortable with her even though she had just met her. May all of your memories be close to your heart and a part of your daily conversations as she lives on in those she loved.

Beautiful picture of Glenda. She always had the most fabulous smile and it warmed your heart immediately. I have such great memories of hanging out with Dena and Glenda when we were kids. I didn’t see Glenda that often as we grew older but I certainly thoroughly enjoyed any chance I had for a visit. Glenda had a way of making you feel she was just so interested in you and your life. I will honour her memory by Killarney Lake next time I had get there. I am so very sorry the world no longer has Glenda in it and I can’t imagine the loss you must be feeling. Leslie Udell(Bell)

Greg, Sarah, Laura, Kendra and families. Having moved from the Carroll community now almost 20 years, we are too often shocked to read or hear of news of friends and neighbours passing. Your family was a huge part of what made life in Carroll and Glenwood very special. Although over time we lost track of happenings in your lives, we have nothing but great memories of doing life together with you. Glenda's smile and compassionate ways will be missed. Love and prayers to each of you. Praying our paths cross again here sometime or in Glory. Judy and Peter Hiebert, Pam, Travis and (Daryl/Corrie) and families.

My deepest condolences to Glenda's entire family. I was privileged to work with Glenda throughout BRHC for 18 years. When I was a staff nurse on A2, then as a fellow Float Nurse and finally in ICU and the Recovery Room. She taught me a lot over the years. She really never got too frazzled. She was always calm, confident and smiling. She was very proud of her family. She was always eager to show the latest pictures of her girls and share their accomplishments. I know she will be missed. May she rest in peace and be your forever Guardian angel.

I was saddened to hear of the unexpected (to me) passing of such a young cousin whom I have not seen since cousin Brenda's wedding party at Uncle Bill and Aunt Eunice's in Killarney. Glenda was only a little tyke then but like all of the Freeman girls she could swim like a fish and truly loved Lake Killarney. Her passing is one more reminder of how busy life is, how the years have passed so quickly and how difficult it is to maintain a closeness with our own family brood, much less the now myriad of cousins and their children and grand children.
My sincere condolences to the McFarland family, the Freeman family and their loved ones. May you find comfort in your many wonderful memories.
Gerald Towns, Maberly, Ontario.

I knew Glenda since my nursing career began. We became work Buddies in ICU & then Again in Primary Recovery. Our friendship then became a cherished one outside of the hospital walls. Not only was Glenda beautiful and kind, but a wonderful nurse that I was proud to work with and learn from. the Love for her family was always evident. Through her illness, she taught me to always be strong and never give up. I have many memories I will cherish forever . Heaven needed an exceptional angel for something only Glenda could fulfill.
