Sincere condolences to Fay and family. Uncle Harvey always found time regardless how busy the shop was, to help fix a bike or a first car. When I returned to Brandon as a young teenager, I regularly stopped in at the shop that was west of 18th Street. Uncle Harvey and Jack were always very welcoming. I left Manitoba and worked in law enforcement in Saskatchewan, returning to Brandon when I was in my 30’s. Having Bullee as a surname as a police officer was a detriment in SK, even to the extent of being asked in open court by defence counsel if my surname described my personality. I found the exact opposite when I joined BPS. When asked my name, I discovered the Bullee name was very much respected in Brandon and I was often asked if I was related to Harvey. The surname was synonymous with being treated fairly with integrity and a job well done. The reputation that accompanies Bullee Springs that Todd and Brent continued to uphold. Humble, kind, always interesting and relevant. RIP Uncle Harvey. You made a positive difference in a lot of peoples’ lives.
