My memories of Larrie were from the ball park. Hands on his hips, shades on, signals from the base, big smile, big laugh. Pride in the uniform, huge pride in his girls. After games Larrie would always come to visit with competing coaches players and parents, to give his thoughts and analysis, to joke and laugh. You could quickly observe his absolute love for the game. These were some of my very limited experiences with Larrie, but they were meaningful to me as I'm sure would be to many many others.

Larrie and the Super Novas were the Unity Panthers respected arch rivals in multiple provincial finals. Not only was Larrie a fierce competitor to coach against, his teams were always very passionate and always played with class. We would like to give our sincere condolences to Larrie's daughter Taris who has always been a threat to us both on the mound and in the batter's box. Our thoughts and prayers go out to all of Larrie's family and friends during this very difficult time.
