Condolences to Alex & family.
What a truly fine person, a person that everyone liked.
Tom had a real impact on people & organizations that he touched.
One of my and the executive of Brandon Minor Baseball Association great moments with Tom (1985) when we convinced Tom to chair a committee to seek the 1991 World Youth Baseball Championship. This goals endorsement was achieved in 1987 when Tom & our committee made an presentation to the World Congress International Baseball Association in Havana Cuba. Another achievement of Tom & minor baseball association was to see a new senior size baseball complex constructed. This occurred in 1989 when the committee hosted the First Baseball Canada Youth Selection Tournament in this new baseball facility (Westbran Stadium). Tom played a major role in the success of both the 1991 & 1994 World Youth Baseball Championships.
This gentleman memory will remain with me for ever.
May you R.I.P. my friend

I was a very young 19 year old when I was hired by W.O Jones & Co. Insurance Adjusters in Brandon. And Tom was my first boss ever. What a great experience to work for him and with Bob Wilson and Don Angus. So many laughs when you had “T” Town as your boss! All through my working career (insurance of course) no other boss compared to him. And I still have the reference letter he wrote for me when I left the company. My condolences to Alex and family.

Tom was the BEST as a Manager. He was always black or white, never a grey area with him and that got him the respect he deserved. I worked with him on community events such as the the Brier in 1982 and World Youth Baseball in 1989 and 1991. He was a man of the community and got things done. He was a gem of a man and one who will be missed dearly! Condolences to his family. Barb Jay

"At the end of life what really matters is not what we bought, but what we built;
Not what we got but what we shared; not our competence, but our character; and
not our success but our significance.
Live a life that matters
Live a life of Love. ............. "Love of Baseball" along with friendship is what we "the Hodgson's" shared with Tom.
Brian and Tom shared many a memory of the "good old days of their baseball careers with the Brandon Cloverleafs. I(Marg) sat on the executive for the World Youth Baseball which Tom presided over & got to know Tom as a generous, caring, charismatic man. Many a gathering hosted by Alex and Tom and a good time was always had by all.
Our condolences to Alex and family, may all the happy memories help ease the pain of loss.

Our condolences to Tom's family. What a great athlete and an even greater gentleman, Tom you will be missed. He looked after me when I was a young boy gathering bats for the Cloverleafs during their championship run and much later I paid him back assisting with the World Youth Baseball championships. You will not be forgotten.

I was shocked and deeply saddened to learn of Tom's passing. He was, in my opinion, one of the finest human beings to walk this earth. Never too busy to stop, chat and leave with a kind word. Never too busy to offer a helping hand with any community event, And his athletic abilities were legendary I always held him in my highest respect and consider him a good friend. My most sincere condolences to his wonderful family.
