Ron and Flora, I was sad to hear of the loss of the final Casselmen of Lauder. I grew up a mile north of the Casselman bush where the homestead was located. My mother Kathleen Boyd, nee Lewis, talked of exciting visits to the Casselman home. Her teacher, Aileen Casselman, would bring her home from school. I saw your mother periodically over the years: at the Lauder house, in Brandon during university, Lauder reunions, and later at curling events. When you met her she always made you feel as if you were the most important person at that time. Our condolences to you both. She was a great lady.
