I remember a time over 15 years ago when Mr. Boulet invited me to bring several saw chains over and he would help me sharpen them. It brought up conversation of his days as a lumberjack, even though my French was not as good as his English! I was just getting started in the tree work at the time. Since then, I have worked not only as a lead climber/foreman for a tree service here in Alaska, but have also worked as a mechanic at a small time saw shop. I have sharpened hundreds of chains, and have had many opportunities to pay forward the few moments of time that a gracious man once took to to share with me a little from his experience.
