Obituary of Andrew Sioux
SIOUX: Andrew James Sioux was born on June 12, 1963 to Elizabeth and John Sioux. With family by his side, Andrew passed away in Winnipeg in the early hours of March 6, 2023. He is survived by his sons, Brock and Trent; his siblings: Robert (Carolyn), George (Bonnie) and Kathy; Uncle Art McKay (Stella) of Rolling River First Nation. Also leaves to mourn numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends. Andrew was predeceased by his parents: John and Elizabeth Sioux; sons, Brendan Eastman, Clint Eastman; siblings, Janet Bunn, Joseph Sioux, Brenda Bone, Loretta Sioux, Amelia Sioux, Frank Sioux and Tony Sioux.
A Service will be held at Brockie Donovan Chapel, 332 8th Street, on Friday, March 10, 2023 at 11:00 a.m.
A Funeral Service for Andrew will be held at Sioux Valley Veterans’ Hall on Saturday, March 11, 2023, the funeral procession will depart from Brockie Donovan Funeral Home at 10:00 a.m. Interment will be held at the Sioux Valley Catholic Cemetery.
The family would like to thank the Brandon Regional Hospital Renal Dialysis Unit for the compassion and care they had for Andrew all these past years.
