My deepest condolences to April and family. Stef was a truly wonderful guy. I was roommates with April in university when she and Stef fell in love. It was such a beautiful love story to witness. We had a lot of laughs, as friends. I had the pleasure of being the maid of honour at their wedding. I will always remember Stef fondly.

My sincere condolences to April and family. I was fortunate to spend time with Stefane at some CIPHI conferences over the years in Vancouver ,Regina and Manitoba. We shared a lot of laughs and some pretty deep conversations after a few bubblies. He was a super intelligent, gracious, good natured, stand up man. He was taken from us all too soon and is so badly missed. Stefane made the world a better place for us to live in and is truly missed. My heart goes out to his entire family.

April and family, I am heartbroken that your family has lost your beloved, Stef.
I enjoyed the time I spent in the office with him. He really was the most amazing man. He was a strong role model for his staff and colleagues. He always did hardest things in the kindest way. The young inspectors that passed under his wing were truly gifted with his wisdom. He changed peoples lives for the better.
He loved his family so much. My love and prayers as you mourn his loss.

Stefane was not only my past boss but also my friend and mentor. He was also very intelligent, professional, and someone who excelled at his job. April and family - I am so very sorry to hear about the loss of your Stefane. Although I only knew him in passing in the hallways at work. I enjoyed your Tourtiere at the 3rd Floor potluck....not sure who the cook was!! FYI....Stefane I love cajun accordion music!! Wish I had heard you play. My Dad was an awesome accordion player. He will gladly play with you in Heaven. Anyways, I never know what to say but I'll be here in the Provincial Building if you need an ear, a hug, a laugh, a cry or whatever. April. My condolences to you and your family for such a terrible loss. From the first time I met Stefane, I knew that he was a wonderful person who had the best qualities of a great Public Health Inspector, a strong leader both at work and in the community, and a wonderful person who many would find a strength that too few people have. I found Stef to be extremely intelligent, and professional in everything he did, and combined with his common sense and understanding of human character, he was the type of person who left an everlasting impact on everyone around him. I moved to Manitoba the same time as the Gravelles and worked with both when doing MOH coverage for Flin Flon, Thompson and Brandon.
